Womens 5k fun run/walk

Run or walk alongside some of Australia's elite athletes and celebrities including "Packed to the Rafter's" stars Jessica Marais (Rachel) & Zoe Ventoura (Mel)..  AND raise awareness of breast cancer AND raise funds for the local Holman Clinic..

 

James Stewart - Jake from "Packer to the Rafters" will start the race and join Jessica and Zoe to sign autographs after the race ;-)

WHEN: Sunday 14th March 2010  START TIME: 10am
WHERE: Starting from Launceston City Park with a 5k walk/run through the city and back. See the course map.


REGISTRATION FEE: $30.00 up until 14th February 2010, $35 between 14th February 2010 and 14th March 2010.
Postal entries close on Friday 5th March 2010..
LATE FEE: $35.00 - Online registrations received between Saturday 6th March 2010 and Thursday 11th March 2010 will incur a late fee.  Online registration will close Wednesday 11th March 2010 @ 5.59pm.

Pick up an entry form from 41 degrees realestate office (Arthur Street, Launceston) or Fernwood (Charles Street Launceston) or Life is Good Store (137 George Street), fill it in and post it, along with your entry fee to: Womens 5k, PO Box 1120, Launceston, Tas 7250.  CASH PAYMENTS can also be taken at 41 Degrees and Life is Good Store.
      2. 2. Download an entry form from this website by clicking here or on the Entry Form menu above, fill it in and post it, along with your entry fee to: Womens 5k, PO Box 1120, Launceston, Tas 7250. CASH PAYMENTS can also be taken at 41 Degrees and Life is Good Store.
      3. 3. Register online (through 'register now') by clicking here or on the Entry Form menu above.

CHEST NUMBERS: Chest numbers can be picked up at 41 degrees realestate office, Arthur Street, Launceston on the Friday 12th March 2010 & Saturday 13th March 2010 between 10am and 4pm, AND on race day morning between 7:30am and 9:45pm at city park.


FACILITIES: Toilets will be provided in City Park (start/finish line) and at approx. 2.5k mark.
REFRESHMENTS: Refreshments will be provided at approx. 2.5 mark (half way) and at the finish line.

TIMING: All timing will be available after the event, online and in the Examiner newspaper.
PARKING: Available in the CBD car parks, Inveresk and the Gas works. Fees may apply.
